Securing Sacred Ground Campaign
A Call to Preserve Our Sacred Mission for Authentic Christian Culture
Support This Critical MissionThe Critical Moment
We stand at a pivotal crossroads in the history of Sanctus Ranch and the Restoring Christian Culture Initiative (RCCI). Through God's providence, we have been blessed with an extraordinary opportunity to secure this sacred ground for generations to come—but we must act swiftly and decisively.
The stark reality is this: If we fail to secure this property now, all that has been built over these years will be lost. This is not merely a financial decision but a moment that will determine whether this beacon of authentic Catholic culture continues to shine or is extinguished.
Since 2016, Sanctus Ranch has served as a sanctuary where thousands have retreated annually to encounter Christ and experience authentic Christian community. The property also houses Lumen Christi Academy, a private Micro-school that is unapologetically Catholic, provides space for daily Traditional Latin Mass in Regina Chapel, and fosters traditional practices through initiatives like the Clare Therese Sourdough Bakery.
The Challenge We Face
- The triple-net lease obligation of $300,000 annually remains largely unpaid
- Sanctus Ranch LLC is unable to continue supporting RCCI's operations without adequate lease payments
- Legacy lenders who believed in our mission have waited over 5 years for resolution since the devastation of COVID
- We face a 60-day window to determine the future of this sacred space
- Jeremiah 29:11
The Providential Solution
Through what we can only describe as Divine Providence, we have negotiated an opportunity to acquire Sanctus Ranch outright at an extraordinary value:
$4,000,000
Total acquisition price for a property professionally appraised at $8,996,590
$3,000,000
Cash payment needed to satisfy legacy lenders
$1,000,000
Seller financing from Dan Sevigny (3% interest-only, 10-year term)
$5,000,000
Immediate equity position created for RCCI (55.5% discount from appraised value)
Extraordinary Value & Stewardship
An appraisal and Market Analysis values Sanctus Ranch at $8,996,590—more than double the acquisition price:
- Real Property Value: $6,651,100
- Furnishings Value: $1,765,490
- Equipment Value: $580,000
Fully Furnished and Equipped
The property includes:
- 110 beds across two facilities
- Meeting spaces totaling 9,676 sq. ft.
- Chapel and worship spaces
- Dining facilities and kitchen
- 32 acres of premium Hill Country property
- 43,426 total square feet ($92.11 per square foot acquisition cost vs. $269.15 per square foot market value)

A Foundation Built on Sacrifice
"Behind this mission stand eight years of literal 'blood, sweat, and tears' by Dan, his wife Jennifer, and their six children. During the critical decade for their family, they sacrificed vacations, college funding, retirement savings, and worldly success for this mission. They, along with many others, have made tremendous sacrifices over the last five years especially. Yet despite being exhausted and weary, they recognize that the call the Lord has given requires leaving no stone unturned and finishing exhausted in service to His will."
The Sevigny family has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to this mission:
- $1.7 million personal investment in Sanctus Ranch LLC
- Foregoing over $1,000,000 in loan recovery
- Personally carrying over $80,000 of nonprofit debt on personal credit cards
- Owed approximately $225,000 in back salary from nonprofit work
Total Financial Sacrifice
Through the proposed "Securing Sacred Ground" transaction, Dan Sevigny would:
- Forgive $700,000 of his original $1.7 million investment
- Forgive $225,000 in back salary
- Forgive $417,000 in back rent owed to Sanctus Ranch LLC
- Continue to bear $80,000+ in personal credit card debt for nonprofit expenses
- Relinquish equity position in property valued at $8,996,590
- Total financial sacrifice: ~$1,422,000+ plus substantial equity loss
We cannot stress enough: this is our last opportunity to preserve what has been built. The time for half-measures has passed. We must either secure this sacred ground now or watch as this light for authentic Catholic culture is extinguished.
Join Us in Prayer
O blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of the Holy Church, and most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mother of God, to thee do we come in this hour of urgent need.
Most powerful Patriarch, Saint Joseph, Terror of demons and Protector of Holy Church, who wast chosen by God to be the foster-father of the Word made flesh, we humbly beseech thee to assist us in this grave undertaking to secure sacred ground for the preservation of the Faith.
As thou didst protect the Holy Family and provide a dwelling place for the Incarnate Word, we implore thy powerful intercession to help us acquire a permanent home for authentic Catholic culture at Sanctus Ranch.
Launched on the Feast of St. Joseph, March 19, 2025, we humbly seek his powerful intercession for the success of this campaign.
Take Action Now
We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might support this vital effort to secure a permanent home for authentic Christian culture—a place where faith can flourish, minds can be formed in truth, and the beautiful traditions of our heritage can be preserved for generations to come.
